AVP: Respawn in 3,2,1…

I think at one point the rep walking us through it decided to wander off – I don’t blame him!
We had a word with the publisher (SEGA) whilst playing and were happy to find out the demo was specifically made for the Expo, unlike some old builds we came across throughout the day. Three multiplayer modes were playable on the show floor; your classic Deathmatch which by now shouldn’t need an introduction, Predator Hunt (a personal favourite of mine) pits several Marines against the one Predator, and Infestation where one player starts out as an Alien while (Marines) team up and try to survive, a sort of throwback to AVP 2′s Survivor.
Predator Hunt was a heap of fun, starting out as a Predator you’re forced to stalk your prey, and yes, staying invisible whilst sneaking around the map, picking off Marines one by one is just as fun as it sounds! The SEGA rep went on to say the game would boast a whopping three campaign modes (Alien, Marine and Predator) which are all completely different. With a 2010 release planned, Rebellion seem to have it in a good place, with plenty of time to give it that finishing polish to walk it head high into the New Year!
