MacRumors have pointed out the possibility of video conferencing through Game Center, Apple’s social gaming network. Players may be able to chat with fellow players and friends through the next-generation iPhone’s front-facing camera (apparently it has one of those). Several status messages were found in the latest iPhone SDK Beta: Read More »

Rockstar’s Beaterator puts a studio at your fingertips and going from the couch to the table-top while grasping toy instruments, is still perfectly normal. Music lovers unite! It’s been another cracking year for music games and in no particular order we present our top picks.

MAG: Our Smaller Action Game
Posted in Eurogamer Expo 09 by Raphael Essoo-Snowdon on Friday 20 November 2009 8:51 pmUnfortunately we weren’t able to take part in MAG‘s 256-man war, we did however have a stab at a smaller battle and can come out saying we thoroughly enjoyed it. You’re NOT Gonna Want to Bring It Home to Your Girlfriend
Posted in Eurogamer Expo 09 by Raphael Essoo-Snowdon on Sunday 1 November 2009 2:39 pmHere’s some Avatar gameplay we caught at the show. Spoiler free of course, since the game is based on a separate story within the same universe. I must say I can’t wait until release to give it a proper play-through and personally think an unskippable James Cameron E3 speech would be a nice touch to the game!
Can You Hear Me? Avatar Interview
Posted in Eurogamer Expo 09, Interviews by Raphael Essoo-Snowdon on Sunday 1 November 2009 2:35 pmSorry for the sound quality. During a noisy end to a fantastic show we had a chat with Phil Bradley from Ubisoft on James Cameron’s Avatar, we couldn’t get him to talk too much on their plans for multiplayer, but we do know that they’re aiming to support online battles with up to 20 players and it seems the Rainbow Six team are involved with it. Ubisoft are also hoping to change the perception on video game movie tie-ins – all sounds good to me!
